Upholster A Lampshade

10am - 12.00pm

In this 2 hour workshop you will learn how to make a simple 20cm drum lampshade.  We will have a selection of fabric available on the day but if you have specific fabric that you would like to use please feel free to bring it with you (Minimum size 24cm tall by 67cm wide - cotton, printed cotton and linen work well, velvet and wool can be too thick especially if you have never made a lampshade before) Also bring fabric scissors if you have them

The tutor, Heather is a fully AMUSF qualified upholsterer and has completed a furniture design diploma course.  She worked for a French upholsterer and in two other workshops before setting up her own business in 2020.
