Personal statement

I truly understood the unbelievable support that Macmillan give when I rang them multiple times after my Dad was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer aged just 54. They talked to me in a non patronising way and gave me so many resources, they were also there for me after he died 18 months later. I cannot express in words how truly, deeply grateful I am to them. It is a privilege to be able to host a coffee morning in support of them all, and in honour of all those who have used their services.
